TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE DOOM (DEMO)

Mission Debrief:

Evil twinkling stars are invading the galaxy, and you must stop them at all costs.

Simply put, these crazy bastards are on a rampage, and they are trying to destroy the universe as we know it, they are harnessing energies unknown to us to drag our existence into complete darkness, do not let them succeed.

BEWARE, they are crafty, and cannot be harmed by colors that do not match the one of your lasers. Not to mention, these stars are hard to see if you don't have your sights right on them. Match the color of your laser to the color of the star and shoot them until they *pop* like a balloon.

Oh, not only that, but they have hired mercenaries to destroy planets as well – that is probably a problem too.

Thankfully, our team of experts has developed some very useful tools to help you on your mission - you'll understand what this means later.

It should be noted that if the darkness touches any star, the universe will collapse into nothingness, blackness, the void, that would be less than ideal.

Controls:

• Left Mouse Button: Shoot the Laser / Select!
• Right Mouse Button: Pew Pew Machine Gun! (Hold for Auto)
• "Z", "X", "C": SWAP COLORS!
• "A", "S", "D": Activate Respective Power-up

This game is still under active development, full game will be merged and released on this page when it is ready for release.

Updates:

1/31/24 @ 7PM UTC: 

• Powerup choices now remain in-place between level-up screens.

• Cost to purchase upgrades reduced.

2/9/24:

• Preliminary boss fight added to end of demo, good luck with that - more boss mechanics have been made but are not fully implemented yet.
• Upgraded and added some graphical effects to spice things up.
• Brightness and Graphics quality settings can now be changed from the main menu (keep in mind, for right now, graphics only affects drawing the planet; high-quality will produce a random planet, everything else uses a pre-rendered image).
• Modified how some text is drawn to improve performance and increase readability.
